A War Just Waiting to Happen

MEXICAN POLICE TO PATROL NY?

NEW YORK, New York — In a series of events which has caused wide notice and a storm of protests, the government of Mexico, through its consulate in New York in the United Nations, has announced it will begin patrolling the New York City borough of Staten Island to “safeguard” its nationals there.

The actions of Mexico come after a series of incidents the Mexican government terms “bias attacks.”

Ironically, these so-called “hate crimes” have been perpetrated by blacks and Asians, indicative of rising tensions between various ethnic groups in the U.S. The Catholic Examiner and NBC New York both reported the Mexican government’s intention to mount surveillance, patrol and police in and around the Staten Island community of Port Richmond, which in recent years has seen a large influx of Mexican illegal immigrants.

US Drone Strike Destroys House Full of Children in Pakistan

The Obama Administration’s policy of escalating drone strikes took another hit today, after the explosion from a drone attack against the house of “suspected militants” in North Waziristan also destroyed a neighboring house full of women and children.

The combined toll from the blast was 20 people killed, with at least four women and three children among the slain. At least 13 other civilians were also reported wounded, including a number of other children.

Pakistani intelligence officials say most of the “suspects” killed in the attacks were Afghans, but it is unclear how much evidence they had of wrongdoing. Large numbers of Afghan civilians have been living as refugees in the tribal areas since the 2001 US invasion.

The large numbers of civilians (700 in 2009 alone) killed in the US drone strikes has fueled considerable anti-American sentiment in Pakistan. When pressed during a previous visit Secretary of State Hillary Clinton shrugged off concerns about the civilians, saying only “there’s a war going on.”

"The gun battle is still going on right now," U.S. Border Patrol spokesman Ramiro Cordero told CNN about 30 minutes after the incident began. The firefight occurred just south of the University of Texas in El Paso.

Details of the incident were not available, but a section of Paisano Street, which runs parallel to the Rio Grande River, was blocked for a time.

So Called "Patriots" or "Truthers" Cheer for Bombing Iran

The following video was posted by Israeli Defense Force, IDF. Yet many Americans have not taken the time to notice. A pathetic mindset was put forth by Israeli underhanded workers which shows Uncle Sam as bold and mighty giant has captured many Amerikans to cheer on the murder of Iranians. Self Proclaimed patriots simpletons are being coaxed to cheer on by their enemy through a simple video.

What kind of depravity would host a music video glamorizing the killing of millions innocent Iranian people as though this was "funny"? Arrogance can not truly value life nor value freedom spawn from the lives given. It is duplicity double speak to forsake life is what we are fighting in the first place. But still many Americans are dumbed-down and stoned on television.

GMO Crop Sabotage on the Rise

French citizens destroy trial vineyard

By Rady Ananda
Food Freedom

Early Sunday morning, French police stood helpless as sixty people, locked inside an open-air field of genetically modified grapevines, uprooted all the plants.  In Spain last month, dozens of people destroyed two GMO fields. On the millennial cusp, Indian farmers burned Bt cotton in their Cremate Monsanto campaign. Ignored by multinational corporations and corrupt public policy makers, citizens act to protect the food supply and the planet.

The French vineyard is the same field attacked last year when the plants were only cut. But the security features installed after that incident kept authorities at bay while the group accomplished its mission yesterday.

Senators line up to tell U.N. to leave kids alone

31 already committed to oppose treaty giving world body oversight of parents

By Bob Unruh

Thirty-one Republican senators have agreed to oppose the United Nations' "Convention on the Rights of the Child" treaty, and critics of the international plan to vest children with a long list of rights – such as a right to seek government review of parental decisions – are looking for three more names.

The campaign by supporters of ParentalRights.org opposes an effort to put the U.N. advocacy plan into operation in the United States.

Learn what goes on beyond the playground, in "The Harsh Truth About Public Schools"

The resolution states the U.N. Convention on the Rights of the Child should not even be presented to the Senate for a vote, which would require two-thirds approval for ratification, because it "is contrary to the principles of self-government and federalism, and ... because the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child undermines traditional principles of law in the United States regarding parents and children."

Michael Farris, a key force behind the move to deny the U.N. plan authority in the U.S., told WND only 34 names are needed because of the two-thirds requirement in the Senate for treaty adoption.
